The site is positioned to the south of Crieff which is the largest market town in Perthshire. Crieff is located approximately 18 miles west of Perth and 22 miles north of Stirling, both within 30 minutes drive time. It is 47 miles north of Glasgow and 57 miles north of Edinburgh, both within 60 minutes drive time. The A85 links the
town directly to Perth and to the M90 motorway. The A822 connects with the A9 for travel south. The town benefits from public transport links, with regular bus services running directly to Perth and Stirling. Crieff is therefore both accessible and commutable to most destinations throughout central Scotland.
Crieff is a popular residential town with a good range of amenities including independent shops, local produce stores, banks and a petrol station. There is also a large Co-op supermarket in the town centre and planning permission has recently been granted for an ALDI store adjacent to the site.
