Description

Scarlett, in conjunction with John Brown & Co, were jointly instructed to dispose of a development site located in Newcraighall, Edinburgh. The residential land was allocated for new housing in the adopted Edinburgh Local Development Plan (2016). Area 1 extended to approximately 5.8 acres (net developable area of around 2.7 acres), with an option on Area 2 extending to around 10 acres (net developable area of approximately 7 acres).

The site was subsequently sold to Cullross Ltd and is now being developed as Newcraighall East, a residential scheme comprising 235 mixed-tenure homes, including flats, colony flats, and townhouses. Of these, 163 units are designated for affordable housing, which Cullross is delivering on behalf of Hillcrest Homes.

The remaining 72 homes have been allocated for SF-BTR, offering a varied mix ranging from one-bedroom flats to spacious four-bedroom townhouses. These SF-BTR units are being delivered by Cullross Living, a company dedicated to developing high-quality rental communities across Scotland.
