Description
Scarlett were appointed by Corus Hotels with instructions to appoint an architect and consultancy team with a view to obtaining planning consent and ultimately disposing of the site. EMA were identified as architects and worked closely with them in the selection and appointment of the technical team. PPP was obtained for 125 residential units including 25% Affordable Housing.
Scarlett’s role evolved into Project Management and we liaised with the local Community Council and Transport Scotland with regard to access options, dealing with neighbour concerns, site maintenance and working closing with Morton Fraser (solicitors to Corus).
After placing the site on the open market and holding a closing date, the site was ultimately sold to Ambassador Group on an unconditional basis, as required by our client.
Forthview is currently under development of 124 homes.
