SLD act for Summix in a major site acquisition at Central Quay, Glasgow

Scarlett Land and Development are delighted to have acted for Summix in the acquisition of a major site at Central Quay, Glasgow from XLB Property, who were represented by Avison Young.

The acquisition includes a 4.43 development site and a 79,327 sq.ft office building.

Summix have revealed exciting plans to deliver a development which includes private for-sale residential dwellings with family housing; affordable flexible office space; and PBSA, with the provision of commercial space on the ground floor. In conjunction with land to the south, the site already benefits from planning permission in principle for a mixed-use development.

Scarlett Land and Development and DLA Piper acted for Summix as purchaser; Avison Young and Burness Paul LLP acted for XLB Property as the vendor.
